We find Cafe Negril to be one of the coolest spots on Frenchman Street. They have really good food, a great selection of local beers and some of the best jazz you I have heard in the city. We like to buy a drink, sit back and experience some really nice entertainment in an air conditioned environment.

You can't beat a place that has amazing drinks, a dope vibe & AMAZING music! It was our first night in NOLA and we stumbled into this bar and had a BLAST! A lot of space, plenty of drink options and the live music was killer. And the cherry on top was the amazing bar staff & service. And what u love too is if you can’t make it to the bar, THEY LIVE STREAM THE BANDS ON THEIR YOUTUBE PAGE! Gotta check this place out!

Nice place to stop in to listen to live jazz. Cool atmosphere and friendly staff. After grabbing a bite at Dat Dog across the street, saw this across the way and heard the live music playing. Happy I stopped in. Draws a more mature/relaxed crowd (at least when I stopped in). So if you’re looking for chill jazz - good place to visit.

What a great first impression of New Orleans. Went straight there from getting off the airplane. The street gravy was authentic!

We had a blast here. Great club with blues rock, different artists jamming. We reserved seats, not necessary, but handy if you want to have good views. Will come again.

Hoping for some reggae or dancehall music, we stopped in to see what was happening around 10pm. R&B artist Vegas Cola was about to begin, so we got a table with a good view and ordered drinks. We hung out and enjoyed an energetic performance. The drinks were good, and the place has a nice vibe.

This is a live-music bar that has some popped corn to accompany the drinks. The drinks are reasonably priced. We reserved two small tables and stools to the right of the stage. The entertainment was engaging and fun. We felt safe and had a great time.
